Oracle and Equinix have forged a deal to put the enterprise software giant’s cloud services on the Equinix Cloud Exchange.
The deal highlights how Oracle is gunning to gain cloud market share with its infrastructure services and platform. Equinix’s Cloud Exchange is a key direct connection from hybrid enterprise data centers to the public cloud.
Equinix is already lined up with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, IBM SoftLayer and Google’s Cloud Platform. [1]
